"Jewel's of the South" Folk Art Festival

Friday-Sunday, October 17th-19th 2008
The theme for this event is titled, “Jewels of the South.” Each artist in the festival is a bright light, a glimmering Jewel making their little corners of the world (or their 10x10 tent at the festival!) a beautiful and organic place for our attendees to visit and explore. The end result at the festival will be a beautiful strand of visual and sensory delights.
The Art Festival will take place at the Cooper House Event Center, a refurbished Victorian house and General Store situated by an old swing bridge along the Intercoastal Waterway. Artist booths will be spread out over the entire property including in the Cooper House, inside the General Store and on the lawn. For more information about this venue and to see pictures please visit their website: www.thecooperhouse.net
Guests will also enjoy live music throughout the weekend’s festivities, tasty treats from local restaurants, activities for children and be able to connect with local non-profit organizations.
